San Diego debuts first large pandas from China in a long time | NESMAG

Xin Bao and Yun Chuan are the primary large pandas in 21 years to enter the US from China.

To rejoice the general public debut of Yum Chuan and Xin Chao, Gov. Gavin Newsom has declared August 8 to be California Panda Day.

“Panda diplomacy” is the motion of the animals from China to different nations, with the objective of fostering understanding and cooperation between nations and strengthening conservation efforts.
